Support Groups and Resources
UT Southwestern Medical Center offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for adult congenital heart disease, which includes malformations of the heart and related blood vessels.
Tests and Exams
Our cardiovascular specialists use technologically advanced examinations to pinpoint the nature of a patient’s congenital heart defect. Then, cardiologists employ a team of specialists to determine the right course of action for a patient’s particular condition.
By using UT Southwestern’s advanced echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) and other testing resources to accurately diagnose a patient’s condition, our cardiologists can determine whether medication, lifestyle changes, interventional cardiology and/or surgery is needed to treat a patient’s heart disease.
Treatment
Our cardiovascular specialists have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating the most complex forms of adult congenital heart disease. In addition, with UT Southwestern’s vast medical resources and research track record, we provide patients with a level of care that is second to none.
