For more than 40 years, UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians in obstetrics and gynecology have gained national and international recognition by writing the leading obstetrics textbook, maintaining an active clinical research role for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and staffing the largest maternity service in the country. Our outpatient facilities are located in clinical practices on the campus of UT Southwestern with inpatient services at UT Southwestern University Hospitals and Parkland Memorial Hospital.

We offer comprehensive gynecology and obstetrics services for women of every age as well as specialized programs in gynecologic cancer, infertility, high-risk pregnancy and urogynecology. Our Lowe Foundation Center for Women’s Preventative Health Care offers an integrated approach to health care for peri- and postmenopausal women as well as care for adolescents with congenital gynecological anomalies.

The physicians in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern are devoted to helping women maintain optimal health and well being throughout all phases of life. Our clinical services are offered in a private-practice setting and address a variety of women’s health problems arising during:

  • Onset of menses in adolescence,
  • Pregnancy and childbirth during the reproductive years,
  • Challenges of mid-life changes, and
  • “Golden Years” of advanced age.
