Respiratory Medicine
UT Southwestern Medical Center's Pediatric Pulmonology Program offers both inpatient and outpatient consultation for a wide variety of chest disorders in children, such as:
- Complicated asthma
- Congenital anomalies of the chest
- Pulmonary disability associated with neuro-muscular disease
Special services our program offers include:
- Bronchoscopy
- Exercise testing
- Infant pulmonary function testing
- Pre-operative evaluations
- Pulmonary function testing
The Cystic Fibrosis Program at UT Southwestern is an approved Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Care Center offering comprehensive evaluation and treatment of children with suspected and confirmed diagnoses of cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary and gastrointestinal diseases. Other services offered are physician consultation and relevant testing – including pulmonary function studies and gastroenterology consultation.
