UT Southwestern Medical Center physicians take complex medical information about women’s imaging and describe it to patients in easy-to-understand terms. In addition, we also offer patients access to educational materials that will help them to learn more about women’s imaging and why they are candidates for the exam prescribed.
Patient education can make a significant difference in how patients approach women’s imaging. In addition to access to UT Southwestern’s health-care professionals, patients may consult other educational materials to better understand what to expect before, during and after the exam.
