Each patient’s physician, collaborating with our registered dietitian, will order a diet plan based on the patient’s medical condition while staying in the hospital. Nutrition Service attendants will visit patients to discuss menu selections prior to lunch and dinner. Meal trays are delivered at approximately 7 - 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 5 – 6 p.m.

Patients should inform their nurse if they would like to speak to a dietitian.

Guest trays are available for a fee for family or visitors who wish to eat in the room with the patient. Simply tell the unit secretary or nurse, and one will be ordered.

Coffee and tea are available in the pantry (kitchen) on hospital floors. There patients will also find additional information about community services offered.
